She always helped me see what would actually work, and made sure it all came together without compromise. For my sister’s room, the approach was totally different. Shalini took complete ownership, from design to execution — like a one-woman army. We barely had to step in. She just made it happen. And it wasn’t just interiors. We made some structural changes too, and the civil work was super solid. No mess-ups, no last-minute drama. Everything was done on time, which I can’t say for most other home projects I’ve seen. She took us to what felt like a hundred places to pick tiles, wallpapers, finishes—and never settled until we found the right one. She was tireless. What I loved most was her mix of deep knowledge, design instinct, and flexibility. She adapted to our needs without ever losing her own aesthetic clarity.
