Defining Space Studio

I engaged this firm for construction of a house on a 40*60 plot. The start went off well (with sudden long breaks from the workers which i gradually understood is normal; i had to take care of curing for pillars etc which was inconvenient but I managed). There were many gaps which started showing during the course of the execution. There are no site engineers assigned and so the onus is on the mestri and the workers to execute properly (ex: placing coverblocks so reinforcements are strong, covering pillars with jute bags during summer for better curing..); The materials used for construction are substandard (ex: centering) and causes a lot of honeycomb issues which were just patched. The termite treatment is again from site workers who drill a few holes and pour terminator liquid (BOQ mentions this would be done by professionals!). When I questioned all these, very vague or evasive responses were given. There were issues in every area of construction (civil, wood work, electrical connection and plumbing). The construction area was not clear and when i got a survey done (for BDA OC purpose), i found the actual construction was less than what was estimated but they were charging the full amount. I reached for a settlement where i still paid 50% of the overcharge hoping they will own and complete the remaining work). When issues started coming up, they started distancing from the project and turned off responses altogether. When i was upset and said i will put a bad review on google, they threatened about the consequences (very unprofessionally). Civil: The whole of the terrace is laden with cracks (picture attached). Plumbing: 1st floor toilet started leaking water from the sunken slab for which the floor and the tiles had to be broken open after construction completed. Electrical: The lighting and heating circuits are mixed up and the UPS point is useless now. Wood work: A double door for balcony has started showing a wide gap between them which looks terrible. Whenever i question them about all these, they say I could talk to the workers directly (and they have instructed workers to not respond). I am managing all of the above issues myself with different workers and do not know why I engaged them in the first place. Poor ownership, knowledge, and attitude. Hope other people don't go through the severe frustration that I had to go through.
